Honda Siel Cars India launches '3G Honda City'

Kochi, Oct 22 (UNI) Honda Siel Cars India, leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, today rolled out its 'Third Generation Honda City' into the Kerala market.

The car, unveiled by Company Marketing Director Tatsuya Natsume, has the unique 'arrow shot form' design which gives it a powerful and imposing presence.

Mr Tatsuya said the car would be available in three 'City' variants --1.5 E MT, 1.5S MT and 1.5S AT, priced between Rs 7.91 lakh and Rs 9.11 lakh.

The car equipped with a 1.5L, four cylinder new generation i-VTEC engine delivers a class leading power of 118PS and provides good fuel economy similar to that of 'City ZX.' The third generation car will be the only car in the segment to be quipped with the five-speed automatic transmission with a paddle shift option to allow a manual transmission-like driving comfort.

The car is also loaded with various active and passive safety features including ABS (anti-lock braking system) with brake assist (BA), dual SRS airbags, pre-tensioner seat belts and G-CON body with crush-proof survival zone.

'' Honda City is one of the most successful car brands in the country and certainly the most desireable sedan in the category,'' Mr Tatsuya said.

He said the dealers in the state had started taking booking for the car and the delivery would start from November.
