Heavy rains wreck havoc to Salem roads

Salem, Oct 22: Heavy raims has wrecked havoc in residential areas too. The important artillery roads in Shanmuga Nagar and Bharathi Nagar are blocked.

The road which has a number of potholes remains a safety threat for unwary road users. Accidents and broken axles of vehicles are the common sights on this road. Despite repeated requests, the civic body remains a mute witness to people"s sufferings who has requested it to take up the road work immediately after the rainy season.
