Haldia dock complex to handle 90,000 tonnes of cargo
Kolkata, Oct 22 (UNI) Barring Nos 7 and 9, all twelve berths and three oil jetties in the Haldia Dock complex were functional and expected to handle around 90,000 tonnes of cargo today, Kolkata Port Trust sources said.
Releasing a status report of the Haldia Dock's three oil jetties and 14 berths, a KPT release said loading and unloading of cargos including crude oil, naptha, coking coal, steel and machineries had been going on in full swing in all the three oil jetties and berths, barring nos 7 and nine today.
The total productivity at Haldia is expected to be around 90,000 tonnes for the day as available draft for the day was 7.40 m.
