Fake visa lands man in jail
Chennai, Oct 22 (UNI) Police today arrested a 42-year-old man, a local Tamil, when he tried to fly to Peru using a fake visa at the Anna International Airport.
Police said R Ravi, hailing from Kolathur in the city, came to the airport to board an early morning Jet Airways flight to Peru, when officials found his visa to be fake.
Inquiries revealed that Ravi had obtained the visa from a travel agent by paying Rs three lakh to take up a job at a restaurant in Peru.
