AIDS drives family to death

Chennai, Oct 22 (UNI) A four-member family was driven to death after medical diagnosis revealed that the family head and his wife were suffering from the dreaded AIDS disease at Karimangalam in Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu last night.

Police said the family head, Suresh (35), working as a tailor, was not keeping good health for some time.

Medical tests revealed that he was suffering from AIDS. He also came to know that his wife Vasantha (30), too, had contracted the disease from him.

Upset over this, the couple killed their son Mathesh (14) and daughter Priya (13) by administering poison to them. Later, the couple ended their life by consuming the same.
