Srinagar, Oct 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today suspended 28 employees of different government departments for remaining absent from duty in Srinagar.

Official sources said Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) conducted surprise check of different government departments today.

During the inspection 28 employees were found absent from duty.

Suspension orders of five have been issued while appropriate administrative action against the 23 others is being initiated, they said.
