Tiger spotted after years in Nat'l Park
Shivpuri, MP, Oct 21 (UNI) A tiger has been spotted in this district's Madhav National Park after a gap of several years.
''The carnivore was spotted recently in a forest near the sanctuary's Sailing Club and Sakhya Sagar Lake. Wildlife expert and Chief Forest Conservator (Retd) P M Laad was invited for making suggestions regarding adequate attention to the animal's protection and providing a conducive atmosphere,'' Park Director and Forest Conservator Alok Kumar said today.
Mr Laad toured the Park from October 18-20 and shared informaton relating to the beast's protection besides saying that special attention should be paid to protection of deer, gazelle etc.
