Salem: SL refugee camp inmates on fast
Salem, Oct 21: As the Tamil Nadu Govt is raging war against Centre and Sri Lankan Govt for the inhuman killing for Tamils in Sri Lanka, the inmates of four Sri Lankan refugees camps in Salem too observed a fast at Taramangalam on Monday, Oct 20.
Around 1,550 inmates of the camps at Pavalathanur, Kurukkupatti, Siddarkoil and Athikatanur took part in the protest near the Pavalathanur camp. They said the Tamils were getting caught in the crossfire, in the battle between the army and the LTTE, and the issue should be treated as a human rights violation.
