Reliance Petroleum achieves 97 pc progress in Jamnagar refinery
Mumbai, Oct 21 (UNI) Reliance Petroleum today announced that it had achieved 97 per cent overall progress, with rapid advancement on all implementation fronts of its petroleum refinery, coming up in a Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar in Gujarat.
Reliance Petroleum, in a release here, said the focus was now on start up as construction was nearing completion. Several Primary and secondary process systems and treatment units have been completed and pre commissioning and commissioning trials of satic and rotary equipments, electrical distribution and instrumentation systems were underway.
Commenting on the project progress, Reliance Petroleum Chairman Mukesh Ambani said the Company was poised to set a new benchmark in project execution in the refining industry through the commissioning of its large, complex and flexible refinery. ''Reliance Petroleum Limited is uniquely positioned to successfully capture the exciting opportunities in the refining sector and create significant value for its shareholders,'' he added.
