Rahul asks students to take active part in politics
Srinagar, Garhwal, Oct 21 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today stressed on the importance of providing quality education to students of all sections of society, thereby enabling them to contribute in nation-building.
Interacting with students of the HNB Garhwal University here, Mr Gandhi told them there was no dearth of employment opportunities in Uttarakhand but there was a shortage of skilled manpower.
Mr Gandhi told the students that along with concentrating on their studies, they should take active part in politics.
He said the fresh vision and intelligence of the youth could take the country forward in the field of development. ''Thus, there was a need for more and more youth to enter the field of politics,'' he said.
