North-East monsoon active over Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 21 (UNI) The North-East Monsoon has been active over Kerala and rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep.
According to local met office, Alapuzha recorded the highest rainfall of 15 cm, followed by Kollamkode 11 cm, Chittor nine cm, Thiruvananthapuram Airport eight cm.
Chalakudi, Kanjirapally and Thalassery recorded a rainfall of six cm each, the office added.
The Met office warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall at the isolated places in South Kerala and Heavy rains in isolated places in the Northern parts of Kerala and Lakshweadeep during the next 48 Hrs.
