No change in condition of Dasmunsi, still on life support
New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) A day after he was shifted from the All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to the Apollo hospital, doctors at the hospital today said the condition of Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remains the same.
''The medical condition of Union Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remains the same. He continues to be on life support,''a bulletin issued by the hospital authorities in the evening said.
Doctors at the Apollo hospital, where Mr Dasmunsi had been brought yesterday morning from AIIMS following a request from his relatives, had yesterday described Mr Dasmunsi's condition as ''very critical''.
Mr Dasmunsi was brought to AIIMS after he complained of breathlessness, due to lung congestion, and complete left ventricular failure last Monday.
The senior Congress leader had earlier suffered a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata.
