iGATE launches USD 2mn facility in Mexico
Bangalore, Oct 21: iGATE Corporation, an integrated Technology and Operations (iTOPS) firm, has launched a new USD 2 million facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. The new center, iGATE Global Solutions Mexico SA de CV, will utilise local workers to offer near-shore iTOPS, IT and BPO services to a variety of US and Latin American clients, a release said.
iGate's Guadalajara facility is the latest addition to the company's international network of locations in the US, Canada, India, Malaysia, Australia and the UK and the facility is planning to employ 25 staff in the near future reaching 100 employees by 2010.
Phaneesh Murthy, CEO, iGATE Corporation said, "Mexico's proximity to the US and participation in NAFTA makes it an ideal location for a state of the art delivery facility. Our facility in Guadalajara will enable us to provide services with a very quick turnaround fuse like rapid application support and application development using rapid prototyping".
