HP to prepare health plans for all districts
Shimla, Oct 21 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government would soon prepare health plans for all the districts to provide better health facilities in the rural and remote areas of the state.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Rajiv Bindal stated this while addressing a review meeting of National Rural Health Mission here today.
Dr Bindal said that Rs 48 crore was sanctioned under the National Rural Health Mission for the state while the previous Congress Government could spend only Rs 12 crore out of this amount.
He said the present government had spent Rs 26.60 crore during the previous six months and was ensuring proper implementation of the scheme.
