Final photo electoral rolls ready for Salem

Salem, Oct 21: Salem Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) V Balagurumoorthy released the final photo electoral rolls at the Tahsildar"s Office on Tuesday, Oct 21.

In Yercaud (ST) Assembly segment, of the total Form 6 applicants of 3,801, 1,885 had been accepted while the rest were rejected. The deletion stood at 1,408 while the net total voters were 36,904. In Salem West segment, the total electorate was 24,821. It received 1,893 Form 6 applications of which 1,147 were accepted. A total of 746 were rejected with the deletion from the rolls stood at 836. The net total of voters was 25,132. For Salem North the total electorate was 11,358. It received a total of 979 Form 6 in which 418 applications were accepted.
