Central counter for receiving applications pertaining ROI Act

Raipur, Oct 21 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh Government has set up a central counter under the Right to Information Act at Mantralaya here for receiving applications on the behalf of various departments.

According to the General Administrative Department, the central counter would accept applications with prescribed fee for all departments and move it forward to concerning department's information officials and appellate officials for necessary action.

Applications with prescribed fee -- addressed only to information official or appellate official of concerning department posted in Mantralaya -- would be accepted only on government working days.

Sought information would be provided to applicant by information officials as earlier.
