Ashok Leyland Q2 net dips 16.29% at Rs 67.24 cr

New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) Ashok Leyland today said it posted a 16.29 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 67.24 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, against Rs 80.33 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.

However, its total income jumped 7.84 per cent to Rs 1,894.89 crore in Q2FY09 from Rs 1,757.03 crore in Q2FY08, a statement said.
