23-yr-old dies after 8 assailants attack him

New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) A 23-year-old man was assaulted by eight assailants in Bindapur area of West Delhi, leading to his death.

Bindapur resident Anand was thrashed by the assailants, when he tried to intervene and pacify a scuffle between two of his neighbours last night, police said today.

The assailants used sharp-edged weapons to attack Anand, leaving him unconscious and bleeding profusely.

He succumbed on way to a nearby hospital.

Anand worked as a computer engineer in a private firm in Karol Bagh area.

A case has been registered and manhunt launched to nab the accused, police said, adding it has detained three persons and was interrogating them.
