Two drown in Nagaland

Kohima, Oct 20 (UNI) Two people drowned in the Dikhu river while washing a vehicle near Longsa junction last night, about 18 km from Mokokchung town, in Nagaland, official sources said today.

One of the deceased identified as Kongkam Khiamnungan (25), was fished out from the river. He was a mechanic at Mokokchung town, the sources said.

However, the body of another victim, a Nepali handyman, could not be retrieved and the search operation was on, the sources confirmed.
