Taliban kills Brit woman in Kabul

Kabul, Oct.20 : The Taliban has killed a British woman working for a Christian charity.

A Telegraph report said that two gunmen on a motorbike shot the woman, who was identified as Gayle Williams, as she was on her way to work.

Authorities initially said she was South African but the British embassy later said she was a UK national.

Local officials said the woman had been working for the Afghan operation of Serve, a British-based Christian aid organisation that focuses on community development and education and vocational training for people with disabilities.
