Six arrested in connection with gangrape case
Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, Oct 20 (UNI) Six people were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a girl in Rajapur tehsil of the district, police said today.
The 20-year-old girl, hailing from village Vatul in the district, was kidnapped by six youths and raped at different places for three days, police sources said.
She was picked up by one of the youths when she was watching a 'dandiya' programme in Lanja, as per the complaint of the girl.
The arrested were identified as Imran Naik (25), Saud Nevrekar (22), Suph Mujawar (25), Bandya Kurup (24), Rupesh Kotre (24) and Vasant Amate (24).
