MRCC Chief demands Raj Thackerays arrest
Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) Stepping up the demand for arrest of Maharashtra Narnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray, MRCC chief Kripashankar Singh today said he should be detained for reviving the anti-North Indian campaign.
Mr Singh, who led a delegation of several city legislators that called on the Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh here, said yesterday's incidents of attack on North Indian students, appearing for Railway Board's recruitment examination, need to be condemned in the strongest possible manner.
Mr Deshmukh assured him that stringent action would be taken against Mr Thackeray.
