Moderate Hurriyat to decide on J

Srinagar, Oct 20 (UNI) The Executive Council (EC), Working Committee (WC) and General Council (GC) meeting of the moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) will be held on Wednesday to decide over assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.

This decision was taken at an EC meeting held under the chairmanship of Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq at Raj Bagh headquarters of the amalgam. The meeting was attended, among others, by Fazal Haq Qureshi, Moulana Abdullah Tari and Mukhtar Ahmad Waza.

A press release issued this evening after the meeting said the EC discussed different matters including the announcement for the elections in the state.

It was also decided that a joint meeting of the three bodies will be held on Wednesday to take a final decision on the polls.

Later, legal and Human Right cells were reorganised at central and tehsil level.
