Miscreants decamp with booty
Chennai, Oct 20 (UNI) Miscreants struck at a house of a software engineer and decamped with 50 sovereigns of jewellery and Rs 35,000 cash at Mugappair area in the city.
Police said the incident came to light this morning, when the software engineer returned from his parent's place at surbuban Kodungaiyur, where he had gone for a weekend vacation.
A case had been registered and investigation was, underway, police added.
