Lone nomination submitted in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Oct 20 (UNI) One set of nomination papers was submitted as the related process got underway today for the first phase of assembly polls in 39 constituencies of Chhattisgarh, State Election Office sources said here.
Mr Yogeshwar Rao Singh submitted his papers in Kawardha that he represents as a Congress legislator.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and main opposition Congress are yet to announce candidates. Governor E S L Narasimhan issued the notification today for the first phase.
