HC quashes Govt Order over recognising unaided schools

Kochi, Oct 20 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today quashed a Government Order granting recognition to 16 unaided schools in the state.

Mr Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan quashed the Order, stating that out of 16 schools, 15 were in Malappuram district, indicating 'absolute favouritism'.

This was a clear case of 'hostile discrimination' as 12 schools were in Tirur area of the Malappuram district, the court said.
