Explosives recovered in Gaya

Gaya, Oct 20 (UNI) Police today recovered huge quantity of explosives near Chapi village under Barachatti police station area in the district.

Deputy police superintendent Baliram Chaudhary told reporters here that acting on a tip-off, raid was conducted at a hideout in Chapi village leading to recovery of the explosives.

'' The explosives recovered included 126 cane bombs, 200 electric detonators and 35 safety fuse,'' he said adding search operation was on in adjoining villages to nab the extremists who might be involved in hiding the explosives.
