Pondy: Ex-Deputy Speaker passes away

Puducherry, Oct 20: The Puducherry Legislative Assembly on Monday, Oct 20 condoled the demise of Former Deputy Speaker Ramaswamipillai.

Mr Ramaswamipillai was elected from Cottucherry Constituency in Karaikal Region. He was the Member of the Peoples Representatives House during 1955-59.

The members observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
