Ex-CM, supporters stay away from Pondy Assembly session

Puducherry, Oct 20 (UNI) Former Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and his supporters Speaker R Radhakrishnan and Government Whip P Angalan failed to attend the Winter Session of the Territorial Assembly today.

When AIADMK Member A Anbazhagan asked Deputy Speaker A V Sreedharan why the Speaker did not turn up today, he said Mr Radhakrishnan was in his cabin.

While, Mr Radhakrishnan and Mr Angalan preferred to remain in the Speaker's Chamber, Mr Rangasamy did not turn up.
