Ahluwalia sent to judicial custody
Shimla, Oct 20 (UNI) Subhash Ahluwalia, Principal Private Secretary to former Chief Minister Virbhdra Singh, was today remanded into judicial custody for 14 days.
The Court of Special Judge, JL Gupta, rejecting the plea of Ahluwalia's lawyer MS Chandel, held that there was sufficient material on record to send him to judicial custody.
Ahluwalia would be produced before the court on November 3.
Ahluwalia was arrested by Himachal Anti Corruption Bureau on October 8 in a case of alleged acquisition of assets beyond his known sources of income.
