With onset of winter, office timing changed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 19 (UNI) The divisional administration in Kashmir has decided to change the working hours in government offices with effect from November one, keeping in view the onset of winter with snowfall in the upper reaches of the valley.

According to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, the working hours in all government offices and other institutions in the valley except educational institutions located within Srinagar Municipal Limits shall be from 1030 hrs against 1000 hrs to 1630 hrs against 1600 hrs with effect from November one.

These timings shall remain operative upto March 31, 2009.
