Two drown in Bihar boat accident

Saharsa, Oct 19 (UNI) Two people, including a woman, drowned when their a boat capsized in the flood water near Mokama village under Sonbarsa block here today.

Official sources said the boat got stuck in the high current of the flood water and lost its balance.

Two people met with their watery grave, while the rest 11 swam to safety.

Local MLA Kishore Kumar Munna provided Rs 1,000 to the kith of each deceased.
