Rath sent for Guruta Gaddi Utsav

Indore, Oct 19 (UNI) On the 300th anniversary of Sikh holy book 'Guru Granth Sahib', city-based Gurumat Vichar Kendra has sent a chariot 'Rath' for 16-day Guruta Gaddi Utsav in Maharashtra's Nanded town starting from tomorrow, official sources said today.

''The rath will reach Sarhind, a town in Punjab, from where a Nagar Keertan Yatra will be taken out in the supervision of Sant Baba Man Singh,'' Kendra member Ravindersingh Kalasi today said.

He said that this Yatra would arrive here on October 26 and would ultimately reach Nanded via Burhanpur.

''Tens of thousands of Sikh devotees not only from India but from Canada, Britain and America will take part in the event in Nanded,'' he added.
