MP Election Office expresses annoyance

Bhopal, Oct 19 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh State Election Office has expressed annoyance over laxity on part of some districts in submitting reports on removal of political parties' publicity hoardings even as the Model Code of Conduct is in force in this poll-bound state.

In the context of the delay, responsibility would be fixed on district returning officers concerned.

''Information pertaining to removal of hoardings -- displaying slogans etc -- has to be dispatched to the Election Commission of India,'' said Chief Electoral Officer J S Mathur.
