Math inmate arrested

Balasore, Oct 19 (UNI) Police today arrested an inmate of a prominent math under Remuna Police station on the charge of making obscene gestures towards a woman devotee.

Police said Babaji Radhakanta Das, of Madhabendra Goudiya math situated near Remuna Gopinath temple under Remuna police station, was arrested under Section 509 of IPC following complaint of a woman devotee.

Police said the accused was physically assaulted by the villagers before being handed over to the police.
