IGNOU announces admission for various courses

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) The Indira Gandhi National Open University today announced admission to various courses, forms for which would be available from tomorrow.

Admission forms for B Sc (Nautical Science), being organised with the help of Director General of Shipping, would be available from October 20 for the February 2009 session, according to the IGNOU.

Similarly, forms for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and PG Certificate in Project Management, B Tech Civil (Construction Management), B Tech Civil (Water Resources Engineering), B Tech Mechanical (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), Diploma in Civil Engineering, Advanced Certificate in Power Distribution Management, Certificate in Craft and Design (Pottery), Certificate Programmes in Footware Technology would also be available from tomorrow.

Prospectus for the above courses could be obtained from IGNOU headquarters on payment of Rs 100 or downloaded and sent along with a Demand Draft of similar amount.

While the last date for form submission for B Sc (Nautical Science) was November 7, for all other Diploma, B Tech, Certificate and Advanced Certificate programmes the last date is October 30.

However, for PG Certificate in Project Management the last date is November 30.
