51 Kg Heroin seized in punjab

Amritsar, Oct 19 (UNI) The Special Narcotics Cell of the Punjab police today seized 51 kgs heroin near the Genral Bus stand here this evening, Two persons including an exserviceman from whom the drug was seized were taken into custody and later arrested under the NDPS Act, Narcotics Cell S P, Parveen Sinha told UNI.

The value of the heroin is estimated to be around Rs 75 crore in the international market.The drug was smmuggled from Pakistan and was being shifted to a 'Safe' place.
