41 govt employees suspended in Siddharthnagar
Siddharthnagar, Oct 19: The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended 41 employees, including officers, of Basti Division after learning of irregularities in developmental work.
Joint Divisional Commissioner R P Singh today told the sources that out of 41 suspended employees, 29 are from Basti and six each from Sant Kabirnagar and Siddharthnagar districts.
After spotting irregularities at work during physical inspection at various government departments, action was taken against 181 employees, of which 41 were suspended, whereas 28 were given adverse entry. Besides, 29 employees were taken under official inquiry and 80 others were undergoing probe in various matters, Mr Singh informed.
A named FIR was lodged against three employees.
