Three women injured following house collapse

Karur, Oct 18 (UNI) A 48-year old woman and her two daughters were injured when a portion of their house on the first floor collapsed on them at Swaminathapuram here today.

Police said the building was old and the victims were residing in th ground floor of the house.

They were identified as Mumtaj(48), Approach(18), Pyroach(20) and admitted to Government Headquarters Hospital here.

Mumtaj was, however, referred to a private hospital in Coimbatore, as her condition was critical, police added.
