Plastic ban at Erumeli during Sabarimala season

Kottayam, Oct 18 (UNI) Plastic carrybags and similar goods have been banned at Erumeli during the Sabarimala pilgrimage season from November 16 to January 20, 2009.

Issuing an order today in this regard, District Collector P Venugopal requested shops in Erumeli not to give articles to pilgrims in plastic carrybags during the period.
