Mettur water level 71.360 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 18 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 71.360 feet this morning.

The inflow into the reservoir was 14,863 cusecs and the discharge maintained at 5,001 cusecs, PWD sources said.

From the Grand Anaicut,1,520 cusecs of water was released through River Cauvery,1,520 cusecs through Vennar, 3,248 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 344 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
