Guy Ritchie's dad calls Madge 'beastly' over 'emotionally retarded' jibe

London, Oct 18 : Guy Ritchie's dad has called Madonna "beastly," after the Queen of pop took a swipe at his son in front of thousands of fans at a Boston gig.

Senior Ritchie said he was "horrid" to read about how the 50-year-old call Guy "emotionally retarded" after their marriage split became public.

While referring to an incident that took place in 2005, the 78-year-old Ritchie senior condemned his daughter-in-law's remarks.

"She's being beastly. She is saying, 'Did you ever love me?' It goes back to a time when she fell off her horse and she's blaming him for that," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

He added: "She's calling him an emotional retard. When he's being bashed by her it's horrid."

In fact, in another gig, Madge took another swipe at Guy in a second sell-out show in the US city.

After singing the words: "Did I say something wrong?" she added: "I hope so."
