Four bodies trapped in snow storm recovered

Shimla, Oct 18 (UNI) Bodies of four people who were trapped in snow storm at Saach Pass near Bhut-ground of Pangi area of Chamba district were recovered today.

Police said that the four people were trapped in the snow storm while crossing the 'Saach Pass' during their travel from Chamba to Pangi few days back.

The dececesd were identified as Dev Dutt, Sanjay Kumar, Devi Singh and Dhayan Singh. All the deceased belonged to Pangi subdivision of Chamba district.

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Governor Prabha Rau and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal have expressed grief over the incident.

The Chief Minister has asked the district administration to release ex-gratia to the next of kin of the victims.
