Bomb call proves to be hoax

Bhopal, Oct 18 (UNI) An anonymous telephone call to the Government Railway Police informing about a bomb being planted in the Bhopal-Bina passenger train proved to be hoax during a search.

GRP sources said the telephone call was made from a public telephone booth at around 1025 hours, little after the train had departed. The train was halted at Sukhi Seonia station and a search carried out.

The train departed for the destination when no bomb was found.
