Mah: 2 children drown in 2 incidents in Nashik
Nashik, Oct 18: Two school children drowned in two separate incidents in Sinnar taluka of the district yesterday.
According to sources, in the first incident, Keshav Nawale (14), a resident of Chincholi, who had gone for swimming in Devnadi river in Shahapur village, drowned when he ventured into the deep waters.
In the second incident, Laxman Kakad (16), drowned in a small lake in Shelke farm near his house in Jaygaon, where he had gone for a bath. He had slipped and fell into the lake and could not save himself as he did not know swimming.
