Robin Gibb brands X Factor "glorified advert"

London, Oct 17 : Singer Robin Gibb has slammed reality show X Factor for being a "glorified advert".

Bee Gees star claims that the hit TV music contest is all about making money, not finding talent.

"These people are chosen from nowhere. They are told what to sing, how to dress and behave," the Mirror quoted Gibb, as saying.

"They're puppets, not musicians. They are simply a product.

"It's about making money for the people behind the show, not musical talent," he added.
