RJD to contest MP, Chhattisgarh Assembly elections
Patna, Oct 17 (UNI) The RJD would contest the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Party's national general secretary and MP Vijay Krishan said here today that the RJD was negotiating with other secular parties.
It would, however, maintain distance from both the BJP and the political outfit of Uma Bharti.
Mr Krishna, in-charge of RJD's political affairs in both MP and Chhattisgarh, said all secular forces should evolve strategies to prevent division of votes.
He said the RJD was striving for unity among the secular parties and appealed to like-minded forces to come forward.
