Pilgrims injured as vehicle plunges into valley
Tirumala, Oct 17 (UNI) Fifteen people, including six children, were injured when a Tata sumo, in which they were travelling plunged into a 15-feet deep valley, near Narayanagiri hills, on the way to the temple of Lord Venkateswara today.
Police said the victims, hailing from Kurnool, were returning after 'darshan' of Srivari Padamulu near the hills when the mishap occurred.
The condition of six of the injured was stated to be serious.
They were admitted to TTD-run Aswani Hospital here, police added.
