Nine arrested for selling duplicate branded footwears
Bangalore, Oct 17 (UNI) Police have arrested nine people who had indulged in selling duplicate branded footwear and seized shoes and chappels worth more than Seven lakhs in the city today.
Police said that on receiving complaint from Addidas representative Mr Narendra Singh to the effect that duplicate branded footwear were sold in the market, raids were conducted on gowdowns and duplicate shoes and chappels of Addidas and Nike company were seized.
Efforts are to nab four shop owners who absconded during the raids.
