Couple dead in crackers explosion in UP
Lucknow, Oct 17 (UNI) A motorcycle-borne couple was charred to death, following an explosion in crackers in Chinhat area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.
Shopkeeper Rajendra Prasad Gupta was returning along home with his wife after buying crackers from Nagram area, when the incident happened, police said.
Wherein, Rajendra lost control over the vehicle at Malhore railway station and a sudden explosion in the bag containing crackers killed them on the spot.
The deceased had a shop in Gomti Nagar area of the city and had bought crackers for sale on the upcoming Deepawali festival.
